Buenos Aires (VNA) ꦓ– The Communist Party of Argentina (CPA) has published an article honouring President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of his 135th birth anniversary (May 19, 1890 – 2025), highlighting his enduring impact on global movements for liberation and justice.

In a message shared on its official social media platforms, the CPA stated that the image of Ho Chi Minh continues to resonate throughout the historical current of the 20th century and beyond. His legacy, it said, transcends borders, serving as a beacon in the fight against imperialism and as a symbol of the relentless pursuit of peace and the liberation of oppressed peoples. “Uncle Ho,” as he is affectionately known, embodied the tenacity and strategic vision necessary to challenge the colonial rule and build an independent nation, the message noted.
His leadership inspired liberation movements around the world, proving that self-determination and the will to resist are fundamental foundations for lasting peace and true social justice.
The CPA emphasised that, for President Ho Chi Minh, the emancipation from colonial oppression was a prerequisite for achieving human dignity. His struggle went beyond securing Vietnam’s independence—it echoed as a rallying call for solidarity among peoples united in their aspiration to break free from foreign domination. His legacy remains a reminder that the pursuit of genuine peace is intrinsically linked to the struggle for freedom, the CPA concluded./.
