The northern region of Vietnam will experience severe cold spells, with frost and ice in the first two months of 2025, especially in mountainous northern areas.
The northern and northern central regions are forecast to see more strong cold spells in the first two months of 2023, which will cause temperatures to plunge, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
Between seven and nine storms and tropical depressions are forecast to hit the East Sea, of which up to four will directly affect Vietnam's mainland, from now until the end of 2021.
The weather in northern localities is forecast to become chillier in November, with four to six cold spells expected to sweep over the region in the month, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
