The 7th Hanoi International Film Festival 2024 (HANIFF VII) themed “Cinema: Soaring Creativity” opened on November 7 evening, with a series of attractive events.

The Government has asked relevant bodies to support the Vietnamese cinema industry to overcome the crisis caused by COVID-19.

Poland’s cinema as well as cooperation between Vietnam and Poland in this field was the main focus of a workshop in Hanoi on October 28.

The 20th Vietnam Film Festival will take place in the central coastal city of Da Nang from November 24-28 with the participation of nearly 850 delegates.

Filmmakers and producers gathered on November 2 to discuss the potential for a regional cinema industry and for cooperation between ASEAN countries during the Hanoi International Film Festival.
