Hanoi, (VNA) – General Secretary of the Communist Party of China CentralCommittee and President of China Xi Jinping and the high-level delegation ofthe Chinese Party and State laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho ChiMinh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on December 13 morning.
The Chinese Party General Secretary and President was accompanied by Phan DinhTrac, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) CentralCommittee and head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for InternalAffairs.
Later in the day, Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping is scheduled tomeet with Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinhand National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on December 12-13 is expected to develop the Vietnam – China relations to a new high, according to the Global Times, an English-language publication under the CPC’s flagship newspaper - People’s Daily.

The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
The ministry has instructed Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran, as well as those in neighbouring countries, to closely monitor the situation and request local authorities to ensure absolute safety for Vietnamese citizens living, studying, and working in high-risk areas.
