Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan (Source: VNA) Beijing (VNA) – General Secretary of theCommunist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping received in Beijingon October 30 Hoang Binh Quan, head of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV)Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations and special envoy of theParty General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Quan conveyed the Vietnamese Party chief’s congratulations to Xi on the successof the CPC’s 19th Congress and his re-election as General Secretary of the CPCCentral Committee (19th tenure), and expressed wish that both sides will striveto further develop traditional friendship and comprehensive strategiccooperative partnership between the two countries.
The Party, State and people of Vietnam are delighted at the success of the CPC’s19th Congress, he said.
The Vietnamese official expressed his belief that under theleadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi as a nucleus, the Party, Stateand people of China will successfully achieve goals set by the 19th Congressand reap greater achievements in the cause of building and developing socialismwith Chinese characteristics, he said.
Quan affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always treasurethe development of neighbourliness and comprehensive cooperation with the CPC andState of China, wishing that both sides would partner to realise common perceptionsreached by the two Parties and countries’ leaders.
Vietnam appreciates and welcomes the upcoming State visit toVietnam by General Secretary Xi and his attendance at the Asia Pacific EconomicCooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting 2017, contributing to furtherdeepening Vietnam-China relations, he said.
Xi, for his part, said the CPC and himself always highlyvalue ties with Vietnam and wished to propel relations between the two Partiesand countries forward.
He expressed his support to Vietnam’s successful hosting ofthe APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting 2017 and conveyed his regards to theVietnamese Party chief and other Party and State leaders.
Earlier, Quan held talks with head of the CPC CentralCommittee’s International Liaison Department Song Tao, during which Song affirmedthat China consistently pursues the policy of developing peace and the goal of basicallymodernising socialism by 2035 and building a modern socialist nation that isprosperous, strong, democratic, civilised, harmonious and beautiful by themid-21st century.-VNA
