Hanoi (VNA)🌃 - The Chervo Vietnam Open Championship 2016 will be played on three golf courses and will include three rounds, the event’s organising board announced recently.
The qualifying round in the northern region will be held on April 3 at Sky Lake golf course in Hanoi, the southern qualifying round is on April 15 at Twin Doves golf course in the southern province of Bình Dương. The final round will take place on May 8 at Long Biên golf course in the capital city.
Golfers in the qualifying round will compete under the System 36 format and will be divided into three groups: A, B and ladies.
The best 24 golfers in the qualifying round will compete for the final round.-VNA
The Ho Tram Open event slated for December 3-6 in the southern province of Ba Ria- Vung Tau, will offer 1.5 million USD worth of prizes, making it Vietnam’s richest golf showpiece.
FLC Group’s 18 -hole golf course was officially opened in the south-central province of Binh Dinh on January 30, after more than five months of construction.
The first ever golf course designed by former world No. 1 Luke Donald will open at the foot of a mountain range less than half an hour's drive from Da Nang on March 25.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.

Coming to the Vietnamese booth, visitors had the chance to take part in a bamboo dance, a workshop on painting woven bamboo or rattan, or quizzes about Vietnam.
These are impressive achievements, not only showing the efforts and prowess of Vietnamese paddlers but also serving as proof of the sports sector’s strategic and systematic investment.
