Party General Secretary and State President To Lam met with retired senior officials of the People's Public Security Force in Hanoi on August 14, on the occasion of the force's 79th anniversary and the 19th anniversary of the All-People National Security Safeguarding Day (August 19).

The seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 tenure concluded on October 13, with representatives elected to the 13th National Party Congress.

Having absolute loyalty to the Party and close attachment to the people is the essence of and a source of strength for the People’s Public Security force to successfully fulfil its task of protecting the Party, the State and the people, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has said.

The seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 tenure opened in Hanoi on October 12 morning, with the attendance of Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 period will take place from October 11 to 13 in Hanoi, according to the Ministry of Public Security.

The People’s Public Security Force has contributed significantly to Vietnam’s achievements over the past years, Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said.
