Carriers reschedule flights due to Typhoon Bebinca

Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air have announced to reschedule flights from/to airports in Hai Phong city and Nghe An and Thanh Hoa province on August 17 as a result of Typhoon Bebinca.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air haveannounced to reschedule flights from/to airports in Hai Phong city and Nghe Anand Thanh Hoa provinces on August 17 as a result of Typhoon Bebinca.

Vietnam Airlines cancelled flights VN1180/1tk88 between Ho Chi Minh city and HaiPhong city on August 17. 

The national flag carrier also delays thestart of six flights for the routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh city ofNghe An province. Accordingly, flights VN1262 and VN1263 will depart at 2:40pminstead of 6:30am, and at 5pm instead of 9am of August 17, respectively.

Meanwhile, Jestar Pacific’ flights BL486and BL487 between HCM City and Thanh Hoa province will depart at 9:25am insteadof 6:20am, and at 12:00pm instead of 8:55am, respectively.

Vietjet Air also cancelled flights on the routes between HCM City and Hai Phongcity, Hai Phong and Incheon (the Republic of Korea), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoaprovince) and Hai Phong on August 16 evening. The affected flights included VJ286,VJ926, VJ732, and VJ282/283. Flight VJ925 on Incheon - Hai Phong route onAugust 17 was cancelled.

Besides, other flights have been delayed as a result of knock-on effect.

The carriers continue to follow weather conditions and update passengers onfurther flight schedule adjustments.
