President Ha Thanh Toan said theuniversity now offers three programmes meeting AUN-QA standards –biotechnology, aquaculture and agricultural economics, adding that theeducational establishment is continually working to advance its teachingquality.
As part of its 49 th foundinganniversary celebration, the university established a Foreign LanguageFaculty and inaugurated a 9-storey educational facility.
Founded in 1995, the ASEAN University Network consists of 30 members across the region.
Can Tho University (CTU) is an important State higher educationinstitution in the Mekong Delta. Currently, it has 77 undergraduate, 28Master- and 8 Doctoral-training programmes. Every year, the CTU receivesinterns from the US, Belgium and Japan.-VNA
