The rise stems from the increase in export value to the Europeanmarket, China, Japan, from 429 million USD to 521 million USD, said MuniKa, General Secretary of the Garment Manufacturers Association inCambodia (GMAC).
The country’s trade value posted at4.75 billion USD in the first quarter, with exports earning 2.14billion USD, up 7.5 percent, according to the ministry.
The country’s major export earners include garments, footwear, rice, agricultural products, and sugars.-VNA
