Cambodian army delegation pays pre-Tet visit to Bac Lieu

During the reception, Vice Chairman of the provincialPeople’s Committee Phan Nhu Nguyen briefed guests about the local socio-economicdevelopment 2017, saying that the province fulfilled and surpassed all plans withrelatively high economic growth, progressing trade, and improved local lives.
He thanked the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces for their warmsentiments to Bac Lieu, contributing to further deepening the friendlyneighborliness between the two nations.
Sokhon expressed his profound thanks to Vietnam for assistingCambodia in the most difficult period and updated Bac Lieu authorities on hiscountry’s socio-economic situation.
He wished that Bac Lieu and the Cambodian province of PreahSihanouk will further tighten their ties for mutual development.
Cambodia will create the most favourable conditions and givepriority to developing Preah Sihanouk into a socio-economic-cultural hub of thecountry, he said.-VNA
