Cambodia welcomed more than 3.7 million international arrivals in thefirst ten month of 2014, likely to fail the set target of 4.7 millionforeign visitors for the year, according to Cambodian Ministry ofTourism.

The figure represented a 10 percent rise year-on-year, lower than the level in previous years.

The growth of foreign tourists to Cambodia this year is slow due topolitical troubles in neighbouring Thailand early this year andtourists' concern over the Ebola outbreaks.

During the period,Vietnam topped the list of countries with visitors to Cambodia with some630,000 arrivals, followed by China with 440,000 arrivals.

Minister of Tourism Thong Khon said the country will organize the SeaFestival 2014 in the coastal province of Koh Kong this December toattract more visitors.

Cambodia is famed for two culturalsites in the World Heritage List, including the 12th century Angkor WatTemple and the 11th century Preah Vihear Temple.
