Hanoi (VNA) – State budgetcollection will be completed in accordance with the yearly estimate set by theNational Assembly, Deputy Finance Minister Huynh Quang Hai said at theGovernment’s regular metering on November 29.
According to the deputy minister, the rate of State budget collection in thefirst 11 months of this year fulfilled 89.8 percent of the estimate, up 6.3percent against the same period last year.
The Ministryof Finance will work with relevant ministries and sectors to address difficultiesand promote production, thus increasing the rate of budget collection.
Inspectionwork will be intensified to prevent fraud, loss of revenue and cut down budgetspending, towards balancing the State budget, Hai added.
Regarding public expenditurefor State officials’ travel, Hai said the ministry is working to consult about modifyingregulations related to public cars, aiming to apply fixed expenditures and reduce the number of publiccars.-VNA
