The authorities of Hoanh Mo commune of Binh Lieu district, the northeastern province of Quang Ninh, coordinated with their Chinese counterparts from Fangchenggang city’s Dong Zhong town to clean up the environment along the shared border river from May 9 to 11.

The People’s Court of the northern province of Quang Ninh on August 4 sentenced Voong A Sui and five accomplices to a total of 25 years in prison for organising illegal immigration.
