Hanoi (VNA) – The northern and north-centralregions will go through another bitter cold week which is likely to stay on until February 20, according to the National Centre for Hydro-MeteorologicalForecasting.

Scattered rains and showers are expected across the norththroughout the next week, with fog forecast at nights and in early mornings.

Hanoi will see torrential rains and thunderstorm overthe next three days, but it will be warmer with thesun shining from February 17.

Meanwhile, it will be sunny in the south-central, CentralHighlands and southern regions, with showers and thunderstorms expected in theevening and at night, during the period./.

Vietnam ramps up plastic waste recycling, reuse, ꦜtreatment efforts

In 2019, Quang Ninh became one of the first localities in Vietnam to launch a province-wide campaign against plastic waste, mobilising the participation of the political system, the business sector, and the general public.
