The National Assembly elected Nguyen Xuan Phuc as Prime Minister on April 7 morning with 446 approval votes, or 90.26 percent of the total deputies in the legislature.
National Assembly deputies hope the newly-elected Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will continue taking the fight against corruption and wastefulness as one of his priorities.
Nguyen Xuan Phuc, a Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister, was elected as the new Pime Minister at the ongoing 11th session of the 13th National Assembly on April 7.
