Binh Phuoc, (VNA)⛎ – The southern province of Binh Phuoc has established a Japan working group to promote the province to Japanese investors.

Under a decision of the provincial People’s Committee on the establishment of the working group and regulations on its operation, the working group is tasked with connecting with Japanese trade and investment associations, as well as organisations and individuals to popularise information on Binh Phuoc.

The group will also provide necessary information on the investment and business environment and procedures in the province, and assist potential Japanese investors in exploring opportunities of cooperation.

♑ It will help Japanese investors operating in the province settle difficulties and problems, while researching and making recommendations on mechanisms and policies to attract Japanese investment.

Binh Phuoc currently has 13 industrial parks with a total area of more than 6,000 ha and an occupancy rate of 53.5%. The IPs have attracted more than 380 investment projects, including 283 foreign-invested ones worth over 3.5 billion USD.

Japanese investors are running seven projects capitalised at 23 million USD in Binh Phuoc, most of which are of small and medium sizes, operating in garment making and wood processing.

🦩 The province has held several investment promotion events in Tokyo and Osaka of Japan, hoping to invite more Japanese investors. The provincial administration is committed to creating the best possible conditions for foreign investors./.
