Binh Dinh, Hai Phong send medical staff to help Da Nang fight COVID-19
Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh has said that a working delegation of medical staff will head to the central city of Da Nang on August 6 to help it fight COVID-19.

Hanoi (VNA) - Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’sCommittee Nguyen Tuan Thanh has said that a working delegation of medical staffwill head to the central city of Da Nang on August 6 to help it fight COVID-19.
Thanh said onAugust 5 that Binh Dinh is focusing all its resources on preventing thecoronavirus from entering the province, as neighbouring Quang Ngai has reportedcases of infection.
In a spirit of“fighting the disease like fighting the enemy”, however, Binh Dinh will stillsend 25 physicians, doctors, and nurses to help Da Nang, which has recordedmore than 140 cases in the last 10 days.
Meanwhile, a teamof medical workers from the northern city of Hai Phong are flying to thecentral city on August 5.
Hai Phong has alsogiven Da Nang and Quang Nam province 5 billion VND (216,800 USD) and 200,000medical face masks each./.
On August 1, Hoa Vang District Medical Centre in Thach Nham Dong village, Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district was turned into a field hospital for Covid-19 treatment.
The Health Ministry has asked five hospitals to send experts to the Quang Nam Central General Hospital and the Hue Central General Hospital to provide support in the treatment of serious COVID-19 cases.
As thousands of tourists fled Da Nang after the COVID-19 outbreak sprang up in the central city, dozens of leading doctors went in the opposite direction, towards the danger.
