Standard Chartered has worked closely with multinational corporations to promote investment activities in Vietnam and is committed to supporting the country in developing international financial centres.
The PM praised the Standard Chartered for supporting Vietnamese ministries and agencies in implementing the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) in Vietnam, as well as for working with the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) to help the country achieve its sustainable development goals.
The Vietnamese Government pledges to create favourable conditions for Standard Chartered Bank to maintain and expand its business operations in the country, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said on September 5.
