Da Nang (VNA) - The central city of Da Nang will host the third Cocobay Da Nang Barefoot Rඣun at🎉 Naman Retreat beach resort on Truong Sa Street on August 26.
The event's organiser, IndoSun, said the event is free for all, with a race on a pristine beach along with entertainment activities.
The winner will walk away with 3 million VND (133 USD), while the runner-up will take 2 million VND and third place wins 1 million VND.
The race will also promote cleaning the beach as well as sports training.
The 2km race will start at 3pm, with the award ceremony held the same day.-VNA
With less than ten days to go until the world famous Clipper Round the World Yacht Race arrives in Vietnam on February 17, Da Nang is counting down to its hosting the international crew.
As many as 5,000 locals and 300 members of the 2015-2016 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race participated in the second Da Nang Barefoot Run across My Khe Beach on February 21.
