The annual event,named after the most beautiful flower in the region, ban flower (scientificallyknown as Bauhinia Variegata), aims to honour and preserve values of the localculture while combining cultural preservation with tapping tourism potential.
A highlight ofthe three-day event is a music show with hundreds of professional and amateurartists taking part.
A cultural campcompetition, display of local signature products, and folk games will also beheld.

As March comes, the northern mountainous province of Dien Bien is blanketed with white Ban flowers. It’s also the time for the annual festival named after the most beautiful flower in the region.

This year’s tournament has gathered over 300 coaches, athletes, and referees from 18 countries and territories, competing in 28 combat weight categories and eight performance categories. Vietnam’s team has 50 athletes, including six from Thai Nguyen province.
