Sydney (VNA) – Australian Prime Minister ScottMorrison on March 4 lauded the outcomes of the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnamheld on February 27-28.

However, he saidachieving denuclearisation on the Korean peninsula is a difficult task.

Talking to themedia the same day, Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne said the two-daytalks continued to move in the right direction. Denuclearisation is a complexmatter so it is never going to be resolved overnight.

She commended both US and DPRKleaders for the engagement they had during the sessions.

Earlier, Labour Party Senator Penny Wong also expressedher belief that their talks will continue in the future.–VNA
