At least four people have been killed and 23 others injured in a grenade explosion on March 25 in Jolo, the Sulu Islands, in the south of the Philippines.
Hanoi (VNA) – At least four people have been killed and 23 others injured ina grenade explosion on March 25 in Jolo, the Sulu Islands, in the south of the Philippines.
Colonel CirilitoSobejana, who commanded the Joint Task Force Sulu, said a suspect threw agrenade into a bakery shop at 19:00 on March 25, instantly killing three peopleand injuring 20 others.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital and one with the severe wounds diedon the morning of March 26.
Sobejana said policemen apprehended the suspect and are investigating the case.-VNA
