The Save Vietnam’s Wildlife (SVW) on June 12 said it has cooperated with the Cuc Phuong and Cat Tien national parks, and the Hanoi Wildlife Rescue centre to release 21 rescued rare animals back to the wild.
Two Asian small-clawed otters weighing 2.4 kg each on April 10 were handed over to a centre for animal rescue, conservation and development under the Bu Gia Map National Park in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.
Ten Asian small-clawed otters (Aonex cinerea) have been rescued from illegal traders by the Save Vietnam’s Wildlife (SVW) in the northern province of Nam Dinh.
