Beijing (VNA) - Swimmer Vi Thi Hang has brought a bronze medal for the Vietnamese team at the ongoing 4th Asian Para Games inHangzhou, China.

In the women's S7 100m freestyle event, Hang crossed thefinish line in third place with a time of 1 minute 20.58 seconds, earning thebronze medal – the second for the Vietnamese sports delegation on the day. The first one was a silver seized by weightlifter Dang Thi Linh Phuong in the women's under-50kg category.

Chinese athlete Jiang Yuyan and her compatriot Ke Litingwere the first and second to complete the swimming race in 1 minute 11.53 seconds and 1minute 18.56 seconds, respectively, claiming the gold and silver medals.

As of 7 PM on October 24, Vietnam had secured one silver andthree bronze medals in weightlifting and swimming./.
