An art exhibition featuring the beauty of of Hanoi kicked off in the capital on October 7, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day (October 10).

Hanoi (VNA) –ও An art exhibition featuring the beauty of of Hanoi kickedoff in the capital on October 7, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of thecity’s Liberation Day (October 10).
On display are 250 works, with one third ofthem created by young artists and fresh graduates of art universities.
The art works depict the city’s landscapes, traditional festivals, rituals andits people, which were created on various types of materials such as lacquer,acrylic and silk, among others.
ꦰ Speaking at the event, head of the Hanoi Fine Arts Association Pham Kim Binhsaid the association will focus on raising the quality of art works in thecoming time as well as organise more events and field trips for artists.
Established artist Pham Khac Quang is showing his latest paintings which were created using a relief printing technique at an exhibition launched recently in Hanoi’s Goethe Institute.
The Hanoi Association of Photographic Artists opened an exhibition showcasing 150 photos featuring streets of Hanoi and locals’ lifestyle from many different angles at Trang Tien street on October 6.
