Arsenal to bring top stars for friendly

Arsenal’s match in Hanoi on July 17 is part of theclub’s tour of Asia that has two other destinations, Japan andIndonesia.

According to the squad list sent to the organisers,all stars who are playing for Arsenal in the Premier League, includingtheir famous manager, Frenchman Arsene Wenger will be present inVietnam.

The provisional list has all team’s first choice namesincluding Aaron Ramsey, Oliver Giroud, Laurent Koscielny, Santiago Carzola, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna and LukasPodolski.

On the Arsenal website, England’s young talentAlex Oxlade Chamberlain has spoken of his pride at being part of thefirst visit to Vietnam by a Premier league club.

“It’sreally good and first to go a beautiful country like Vietnam and sharewith our fans out there is really good for us as well. It’s really agood thing to be part of.” Axlade Chamberlain said.

Arsenalwill arrive in Hanoi on July 15 and hold a press conference on the sameday. Organisers have also planned meeting between the players, man-agerWenger and Vietnamese fans.

Arsenal is one of the mostsuccessful and long-established football clubs in England. Since itsestablishment in 1886, it has won 13 Premier League titles.

Vietnam’s coach Hoang Xuan Phuc has also called up his best players forthe friendly, including many veterans who helped Vietnam win theSoutheast Asia football championships in 2008.-VNA
