With the theme of "Sustainable Aquaculture in Practice," the conference will feature many leading experts and companies in the industry as well farmers who will discuss the industry's outlook, challenges and opportunities, as well as the sector's trend and opportunities.
Topics will include feed outlook and technology, the outlook for pangasius and shrimp; challenges and opportunities of vegetable proteins; the impact of different inorganic phosphorus sources on growth performance, digestibility, retention efficiency and excretion of nutrients in fish; financing for investment, insurance and logistics for Vietnam aquaculture; seafood consumption in key markets such as EU, Japan, China and USA; and improving the value chain in the aquaculture industry in Vietnam.-VNA
Vietnam’s seafood farming and fishing industry is expecting to produce 6.4 million tonnes in 2015, according to the Directorate of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
