- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had separate meetings in New Delhi on July 31 with representatives of leading Indian groups specialising in infrastructure and pharmacy, calling on them to invest in big, high-tech projects in Vietnam, as part of his ongoing state visit to India.

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s state visit to India from July 30 to August 1 is a critically important occasion for the two countries to look back on their achievements obtained so far, especially since the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership in 2016, said Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Sandeep Arya.

Talking to the media ahead of the trip, made at the invitation of Indian PM Narendra Modi, Arya noted over the last 52 years, Vietnam and India have gradually and steadily upgraded bilateral relations to new levels, now the comprehensive strategic partnership. - The EU - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) has strengthened Vietnam's attractiveness for European investors, stated a survey by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) on July 31.

According to the EuroCham Business Confidence Index (BCI) survey conducted by Decision Lab, released as the EVFTA approaches the fourth anniversary of its entry into force on 1 August 2024, the EU, already a major investor in the country, has poured 28 billion EUR (nearly 30.3 billion USD) into 2,450 projects, underscoring its continued confidence in Vietnam's potential.Read full story

- Agro-forestry-aquatic product exports raked in 34.27 billion USD in the first seven months of 2024, up 18.8% from the same period last year, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
