The 17th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on the Implementation of the ASEAN Declaration on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers (ACMW) has been held in Luang Prabang, Laos, under the chair of Vilayphong Sisomvang, Director General of Planning and International Cooperation under the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Laos.

A national meeting took place in Hanoi on September 10 in preparation for the country’s participation in the ASEAN Forum on Migrant Labour (AFML) in Singapore this October.
