HCM City (VNA) ꦆ– The 8th Vietnam-Japan Festival kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on February 25 under the theme of “Vietnam-Japanstand side by side towards the future, reaching out to the world”.

Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Phan VanMai said the festival does not onlyhold significance in cultural exchanges and bilateral cooperation, butalso plays an important role in the recovery process in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period. The festival is achance to expand cooperation for the business communities of the two countries whilefurther deepening the Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership for peace and prosperity of Asia, he added. Takebe Tsutomu, Special Advisor of the Japan-VietnamFriendship Parliamentary Alliance, said the two countries should look towards to the futureand restore economic and cultural exchange activities in order tocreate momentum for the development in the time ahead. In its eighth edition, running from February 25-26, the festivalfeatures many major events in many fields such as culture, arts, cuisine,trade and tourism./.

🐟 Vietnamese culture takes centre stage in Korean city

ꦓ Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee
