Hanoi (VNA)🀅 – Some 80 enterprises have won 2015 National Quality Awards and Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) of the Asia-Pacific Quality Organisation, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) announced on March 22.
Among them, 20 received National Quality Gold Awards, while 57 took home Silver. Three were awarded a GPEA, including Thien Long Group, the National Oil Services JSC of Vietnam (OSCVN), and Nam Duoc Ltd.,Co.
Last year was the 15th time Vietnam attended the GPEA and so far 37 Vietnamese enterprises have won the award.
A ceremony will be held in Hanoi on April 10 to honour the winners and celebrate 20 years of the Vietnam National Quality Awards (1996-2016).
It is an annual award aiming to review, assess and bestow awards to businesses achieving excellent performances and outstanding achievements in innovating, improving quality and contributing to the country’s productivity and quality movement.
Nearly 1,700 awards have been presented in the past two decades, including 188 winners of gold prizes.-VNA
