The information was released by the centre for the rescue, preservation and development of creatures under the management board of the park.
Many of them are listed on the Vietnam Red Book, including palm civet, assam macaque, nother pig-tailed macque and reticulated python.
According to the centre, the released animals have quickly adapted to their surrounding environment in the park.
In recent years, thanks to communication campaigns conducted by the local authorities, locals’ awareness of forestꦕ protection and observance of the law has been raised. Many residents have voluntarily handedꦯ over rare animals to the centre for conservation.-VNA
