Top 10 fine art-photography events in 2014
The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced Vietnam’s top 10 fine art and photography events in 2014.
The 20th Mekong Delta Region Fine Art Exhibition opened in Bac Lieu province on August 10, showcasing 233 works by 209 artists from regional localities.
At the event, the jury committee announced the eight outstanding award-winning pieces. First prize went to “Su doi lap cua cuoc song” (the contrast of life) by Vo Thanh Lac from Dong Thap province.
A second and third prize and five consolation prizes were also announced.
The exhibition will run until August 19.-VNA
