HCM City (VNA) -🦩 The 16th Vietnam International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair (VIFA EXPO 2025) will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from March 5-8.

The event is expected to bring together 650 enterprises with over 2,500 booths, covering a total area of more than 40,000sq.m. Among these, 48% of the participating companies come from 17 provinces and cities of Vietnam, while the remaining are from China, Denmark, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Thailand, India, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Australia, the US, Italy, and Japan, among others. Vo Tan Thanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), emphasised that Vietnam's wood and furniture industry has an established position and brand in the international market but also faces many challenges, such as trade tax policy uncertainties, green standard requirements, and competitions between regions.
This year’s expo will showcase a diverse range of products, from interior and exterior furniture to handicrafts, home decor, equipment, and furniture support services. In particular, the organisers have collaborated with cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Wayfair to help Vietnamese businesses engage in B2C trade with end-users worldwide.
It is not only a crucial driver for boosting the international presence of Vietnam's furniture industry but also serves as an ideal venue for thousands of businesses seeking to attract customers and expand into new markets. Several seminars will be held as part of the fair, offering updates on the global furniture industry's import-export landscape, 2025 trend forecasts, and the opportunities and challenges the industry faces on its journey toward a Net Zero market. International buyers will be offered free tours to factories and have an opportunity to learn about the production processes at key interior and exterior furniture production centres in Ho Chi Minh City, and Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces./.
