14th National Party Congress’s organisation sub-committee convenes first meeting

Hanoi (VNA) – The sub-committee in charge of organisationwork for the 14th National Party Congress, led by Truong Thi Mai,Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’sSecretariat, held its first meeting in Hanoi on March 7.

Members of the sub-committee discussed a draft organisationplan of the congress, and a draft conclusion on tasks assigned to particularmembers.

Concluding the meeting, Mai, who is also Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission, said that the sub-committee hasthree major missions specified into 100 detailed tasks, which will be assigned to agencies, units and its members.

As the workload is huge with changing requirements in thenew situation, it is necessary to stay active in all circumstances, taking intoaccount urgent situations in security and food safety to make scenarios andcontingency plans, she said.

Currently, five sub-committees serving the 14th National Party Congress have become operational, she said, stressing the needfor consensus among the sub-committees.

The official said that all activities of the congress mustbe conducted in a harmonious manner, creating a positive atmospherethat spreads among officials, Party members, and society about the 14th NationalParty Congress.

She requested members of the sub-committee to build specific work plans forparticular agencies and a coordination plan to complete the overall tasks of thesub-committee./.
