Hanoi (VNA) - Documents submitted to the 13th National Party Congresswere debated at a plenary session in Hanoi on January 27, according to thepress release on the third working day of the Congress.
Politburo memberand Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, on behalf of the Presidium, presided overthe meeting in the morning.
Twelve delegatesraised their ideas.
Pham Minh Chinh,Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and head of the committee’sOrganisation Commission, presided over the meeting in the afternoon which saw11 delegates offering their opinions.
The congresswill continue with discussion over the documents on January 28 and listen to areport from the 12th Party Central Committee on the personnel workfor the 13th-tenure Party Central Committee.
A total of 1,587delegates representing more than 5 million Party members nationwide areattending the 13th National Congress, which officially kicked off in Hanoi onJanuary 26.
To absolutely ensure safety and security during the 13th National Party Congress, competent units serving the Congress have implemented plans and necessary measures drastically and synchronously and been readily available all the time, to contribute to the success of the Congress.
