🅘– The 13th session of the 12th PartyCentral Committee wrapped up in Hanoi on October 9.

Politburomember and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan chaired the closingsession. Thecommittee looked into a report reviewing the result of vote counting forpersonnel nominations to the 13th Party Central Committee and itsInspection Commission.

Politburomember and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong delivered a Politburo report on the Party Central Committee's opinions on the draft PoliticalReport for submission to the 13th National Party Congress.

ꦜ Politburomember and permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh presented a Politburo report on the Party Central Committee’s feedback on the draft report reviewingthe implementation of the 2011-2020 socio-economic development strategy, devising the2021-2030 socio-economic development strategy, and a report summing up the2016-2020 socio-economic performance and setting out 2021-2025 socio-economic developmenttasks.

Politburomember, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the committee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh delivered a Politburo report oncollecting the Party Central Committee’s opinions on the draft report reviewing Partybuilding work and the implementation of Party Statutes during the 12th tenure. Politburomember and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented the Politburo’s report onthe Party Central Committee’s feedback on socio-economic performance and Statebudget in 2020, socio-economic development and State budget plan for 2021 and State finance-budgetplan for 2021-2023. TheParty Central Committee voted to adopt the Resolution of its 13th session before Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong delivered closing remarks./.
