The 10th Vietnam International Retailtech & Franchise Show (VIETRF) is taking place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from November 1 – 3.

HoChi Minh City (VNA) - The 10th Vietnam International Retailtech& Franchise Show (VIETRF) is taking place at the Saigon Exhibition &Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from November 1 – 3.

Theevent draws the participation of about 150 franchise models, and 50technology-equipment companies from 14 countries, including Vietnam, theRepublic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Canada.

Apartfrom displaying and introducing products, the event has business matchingprogrammes and training courses, seminars on retail and franchise activities.

JangHo Keun, a representative of the organiser Coex Vietnam, said the companycollaborates with Retail and Franchise Asia to hold the VIETRF as an annual eventfor businesses to meet with experts in law, finance, realty, retail, and othersto get retail and franchise market update.

VIETRFis the only trade show about retail-related technologies & franchisebusinesses in Vietnam that attracts more than 30,000 visitors every year.

Accordingto last year’s exhibitor survey, 92 percent of exhibitors indicated that theywere satisfied with the exhibition and the results, and 81 percent ofexhibitors indicated that they would participate in the show again.

Onthe same course and at the same venue, Coffee Expo Vietnam 2018 is underway,featuring popular brands such as Mr.Brown Coffee, Vinacafe, and Nestcafe, aswell as suppliers of coffee machines and barista tools like Vovos Corporationand Cubes Asia Co., Ltd.

Itis hosted by Coex Vietnam, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA),and the Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising JSC (Vinexad).

According to Vinexad general director Nguyen Khac Luan the coffee chainmodel in Vietnam attains a growth of about 7 percent annually, however, eachbrand needs to develop distinctive products and consistent quality in itsfranchises.-VNA
