10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress slated for December 9-10

Hanoi (VNA) –Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who is also Chairman of the Central Emulationand Rewards Council, presided over a meeting in Hanoi on November 30 to lookinto the preparations for the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
The congress is scheduled for December 9-10 withthe participation of about 2,300 delegates.
So far, all the ministry- and provincial-levelcongresses have been completed, according to the council.
PM Phuc highly valued all-level patrioticemulation congresses which he said have encouraged emulation amid numerousdifficulties facing the country.
He also applauded the preparations for the upcomingcongress, which have been made with the highest sense of responsibility.
According to the Government leader, thecongress, held every five years, is meant to launch an emulation movement amongthe public, all levels, and all sectors ahead of the 13th National PartyCongress and encourage people to jointly realise the Party resolution.
As the workload needed to be done from now tothe emulation congress remains huge, he requested sub-committees and relevantagencies to seriously review preparations, adding that the event must be organisedin a formal but also economically and efficient manner that must also ensuresecurity and safety, including safety from COVID-19.
The PM also asked for communications about thecongress to be increased to help create a patriotic emulation atmosphere./.
Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has praised the outcomes of the patriotism emulation movement in the northern province of Thai Nguyen, saying they have contributed significantly to local socio-economic development over the past five years.
The Patriotic Emulation Congress of Hanoi for the 2020-2025 period was held in the capital city on October 3 with the attendance of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan asked the justice sector to better its emulation and commendation affairs to ensure that patriotic emulation is truly a motive for its staff to complete their assigned political missions.

The 8th patriotic emulation congress of the banking sector, for 2020-2025, took place in Hanoi on November 28 with the participation of National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
